Was Jesus Mixed-Race?

black jesusThe one-drop rule would still make him black.

First he was white, then black and now it seems that anthropologists believe that Jesus was mixed-race.

Of course in the 21st century most would have to concede
that there is no way that Jesus could have European features as normally depicted in Western Iconography. In the bible the book of revelation describes him as having hair 'like wool' which many would say is proof of his African origins.

Jesus' male ancestors trace a line from Shem, the eldest son
of Noah. Anthropologists believe they would have been of mixed- race because of their time spent in captivity in Egypt and Babylon. Under the American one-drop rule that would
still make him black.

In the end his colour is of little importance, for those who believe in him, his message should come first.

Do you think it matters what colour Jesus was?
