Over 80,000' spectators cheered on the mixed-race Heptathelete from Sheffield who later told Absolute Radio host Johnny Vaughan: 'I'm still in shock. It's been a whirlwind and I'm just blown away by how many people are here.'
Jessica has not only become an inspiration for millions, Mo Farah, who also picked up gold on Saturday for the 10,000 meters admitted she had inspired him just before his race.
Speaking to BBC Sport Mo said: 'I saw Jess with a flag and knew she must have won gold and I just felt I had to win.'
